I was listening to a local radio show about 15 minutes ago coming home from work.  The topic was “who are you voting for and why?”.  One caller ended and the next came on.  It was a woman with a southern accent who immediately made clear she was a Romney supporter.  Fine, but what she said next literally disturbed me that someone could believe a thought so absurd.

One of the radio hosts has confirmed he will be writing in Ron Paul.

The woman said (read with a southern accent for accuracy): “You might as well vote for Romney because all write-ins for Ron Paul count as votes for Romney because he’s a Republican.  But all votes for independent parties like the Libertarian parties are just votes for Obama.  Literally votes for Obama because all independent party votes count as Democratic votes.  That’s why Clinton won because all of Ross Perot’s votes counted for him.  I know this because I work for the RNC.”

I’m proud to say that the radio host said “That’s not true.  That’s a blatant lie”.

If there is anyone else that believes this, please use some common sense.  That’s not how an election works.

I need your help, and it’ll only take a few minutes.

I need short clips of supporters saying “I am Libertarian”.

That is all.  It doesn’t matter if you have an HD camera, or a cheap webcam.

Then, take that clip, post it to Youtube (or any video hosting site, you can make it semi-private if you don’t want it showing up in your videos) and send it to:

Along with your name and a title you want to appear under your name (ex. New Jersey Resident, Radio Host, ect).

They will all be compiled and edited together for a commercial that could be on television.
